Microsoft Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Anyone else interested in this? I mentioned in the other thread that I would try it anyway since I have Game Pass, but the reviews have dropped and are very positive. I was expecting more in the 7-8/10 range.

It also runs well on PC and console. In particuar on Series X it runs at ~1800p with RTGI at 60fps, which is a nice change from the dross being served with Unreal Engine 5.

As a Game Pass Ultimate person, yes I will definitely jump into this during Christmas break. Glad there are no big performance issues.

I am, but I'll be waiting till next year. I don't own an Xbox Series and don't subscribe to game pass.

So, once it's released on PS5, I'll take a look. I have hopes it'll be an interesting puzzle style game akin to Tomb Raider.

My brother installed last night, but when he went to launch it today, he was shocked to find out his PC can't run it. He has an AMD GPU that doesn't support raytracing, so he's shot. I haven't tried installing yet because I'm worried about how it'll perform on my PC. I thankfully have an NVIDIA GPU but I'm still worried it's going to look like a chonkfest.

I have a 4070 and it runs better than I think most games that look this good do.

I've seen performance from a 2060 and it seems to run fine on that.

One thing to be careful of is the textures:

Been spending most of the day playing it, Xbox Series X.

It is aggressively Indiana Jones and you can tell they really love the source material.

The voice actors are CRUSHING IT.

I had a hard freeze the first time I traveled by map.

It looks fantastic.

Combat is kinda lame so far.

Puzzles are cool!

I feel like Indy, so overall this is a dream come true for me.

Let's see how it ages through the week.
