Much higher odds of becoming an astronaut though.

As my friends from Ohio have told me, Ohio has the most astronauts per capita because it allows more people to get as far away from Ohio as possible.

Well yes. There was a giant run of Ohio presidents in the late 19th century leading into the 20th for sure.

But that makes for a less funny joke.

(Also the real reason is the Ohio State programs are really good feeders into NASA).

I can believe it. I just know that I've lived in several other states and it's a lot harder to find enjoyable things to do in them than Ohio.
