The drafts feature is a godsend, dude. I can start a message and finish it an hour later elsewhere.

This and how it remembers what threads you did not read since the last time you were on. Old GW, if you were inactive for too long, you were logged out and all threads were marked as read

Yeah, it makes keeping track of threads so much easier. The portability alone makes the mobile version worth it for me.

I haven’t even logged in on my laptop because of how nice it is on mobile

I assume it's the same on PC (I haven't accessed there yet) but I also like the ability to see someone is typing on a thread. Not sure if that existed in the later years of old GW or not

I love the drafts feature, I wish it was smarter. sometimes it saves a post I already sent and I have to manually delete the text (and the draft) before I can post.

Yeah, that part isn't ideal but you can click the floppy disk and discard draft

and sometimes I'm really high and don't remember if I hit send or wasn't finished with the post

Click the floppy and save draft if you're ever unsure.
