Multi Ghost of Tsushima

I am finally about to start the game. I see that the directors cut contains a DLC called Iki Island. Is this a post-game island, or should I check this out towards the beginning?

As a prefix, I play games on the easiest difficulty settings. So, if it's not spoiling the story, that's fine. If going there makes me OP in the beginning too early, that is also fine. I enjoy and prefer to be OP in games.

Also, any other starter noob tips I should know?

I never did the DLC, but it's a pretty easy game, I eventually turned it up to hard once I got the hang of it, you get OP and it is fun

I will recommend doing the character stories/quests, I enjoyed the characters and their personal stories more than the main quest

Also dont try to clear the map, just do it naturally if its somewhat on your path, way too many icons/places to go

Yep, clearing the map is a waste of time, you'll open much more up just going quest to quest. Clearing mongol held bases also clears the surrounding areas.

I'm a play it on easy person now but I finished this on default difficulty. The combat is simple so it never gets overly complicated, so once you get the rhythm it's not too hard really ever.

And yeah, I loved the Ishikawa character missions. Agreed on they are better than the main quests.

Enjoy! I was surprised how much I liked it.
