Last night I messaged BigDaddy at like 230am about something. He responded and said "What else other than GW could keep me up until 2?"

And I couldn't agree more.

I made a big long post about the way my life was when GW was fully active, and why I was online all the time, and how different my life is now. And it is.

But I find myself glued to my phone, as BD said after, before we needed to be at a computer, but now that we can 100% participate just with our phones, I find myself sitting there refreshing or trying to think of things to post instead of doing things I'm supposed to be doing.

Its 10am, and I have lots to do today, and instead I'm making THIS post.

I’m not gonna lie… I’ve done terrible at getting back to real people this past week because of y’all.

I opened my messenger last night before bed, saw my inbox, and immediately said “that’s tomorrow’s problem”. My emails? I’ll deal with them after the 4th. My girlfriend? So what if I forgot about her next to me and didn’t order dinner til 9pm… it’s my life.

yo agreed. I've barely touched reddit, I'll do a passing scroll of Twitter in the morning (for news mostly), then it's just here. Smoking a cig? GW. Actually alone for 12 seconds? GW.

I was told to "go to the Amazon cart and reorder (something)" while I was trying to come up with a new name.

I think we’re in a good position to get a decent footing with the oldies alone for now, and that’ll springboard us into expansion if we can keep at it. Considering the stats… we’re sitting pretty nicely after week 1, and we’re seeing a great amount of return visitors daily. Far more than half of the members have visited daily since registering, and very few are 0 post accounts. Statistically speaking, for comparison… we’re doing better with fewer members than we did with RS week 1, we cracked 100 faster there because we had an active community to draw from, but a larger percentage were 0-10 post accounts. Compare it to here… damn near every member is returning after their original registration day, posting, and engaging. Even most that aren’t have at least posted on multiple occasions, which still speaks volumes considering the bulk of the time has been through a pre-holiday work week.

You most certainly were, under your first name. You were one of the ones that spent more time in the arcade than anything if I’m remembering correctly. It didn’t take long for drama to stir up there, and that’s when most of the more neutral folks like you tapered off.

Yeah, it had to be like 10 years. GW was still moderately active when RS was a thing. 7 would put GW on it's last legs, and pretty close to when the cheat side of the site got shutdown.
