Wife and kid are going to Vegas with the in laws. I guess it’s cooler there or something. I was going to go, but I need to work and the dog needs someone here too.

I’m off tonight though!! Gonna get wild!

I’m two hours away from radio baseball and uh catching up on chores and finally getting around to some games... haven’t gotten to play the FF7 remake in a few weeks.

I’d go out but I don’t really like bars. There’s a coffee shop that sells good draft beer around the corner though so I might stop there for an inning or too. It’s a 5 minute walk but it’s also a million degrees outside so it’s a gametime decision.

Sounds like a solid plan to me… good mix of peace, productivity, and procrastination all rolled in one.

My plans involved air conditioning. Fuck this heat, it has been high 90’s all week with a heat index in the triple digits. It still felt like 95 at midnight when the temp was in the mid-80’s.

Yeah, I just showered so I’m done going outside. Buzzed Goat needs to wait. AC rules. I’m in Phoenix so it’s 113 out. Not a 100 percent dry heat, there’s a little humidity.

I can deal with dry heat like that, but the damn humidity we get over here in Maryland is brutal. It gets worse, but… just the other week it was high 60’s through mid 70’s. Dewpoint stays well in the tropical range this time of year.

Windy heat would be a new one for me, we don’t usually get heavy winds unless a cold front from Canada smacks us or we have some heavy storms roll through.
