So for anyone who likes to read, a friend of mine just completed his first published novel called Echoes of Reckoning.
It is about a man who dies unexpectedly and is stuck in purgatory wanting to search out his fiancee who died before him and to find a way back to the land of the living. All the while he's pursued by the embodiment of Death who strives to keep him bound until oblivion.
I have not yet personally read the book, though a closer friend who test read for him told me that it was a book he could not put down. And he's like me in that he doesn't like to read.
The kindle version is out now for $4, and the paperback will be out next week for $15. Personally I cannot read unless I have a physical copy, so I will be purchasing then. If anyone is interested in the concept, is looking for something new to read, or just wants to support this up and coming author, please consider reading the book!
