Multi Deathloop

Has anyone played this game? I'm looking for something cheap to play and was surprised that this has dropped in price reasonably quickly. I know very little about it except that was extremely hyped, and from my understanding was essentially a good, but not great game.

If you've played it, is it worth picking up? Also, is there any multiplayer required for the trophies, or is it all single-player?

I enjoyed the game quite a bit particularly as I am a fan of Arkane's output. I would agree that the metascore being in the very high 80s is definitely too high, but it's still a fun game with an interesting central mechanic.

There are three trophies that need multiplayer, although they are all very straightforward. Not sure what the playerbase is like though. The multiplayer is actually invading someone's "single-player" game.

So, they try to give you a ton of replay ability with the game and it's design.

I enjoyed the game, but I also got it via Gamefly. And I will say, I was quite happy I did. I enjoyed the game, but it's not something I'd ever go back and play again, so I am glad it was a rental. Played the crap out of it for a couple weeks though.

It's like Hitman meets Groundhog Day. If you can get it cheap and you like investigative FPS, then it's worth a play. But if you still have to pay near full cost, unless you're in love with what you've seen, it may get redundant.

deathloop is probably one of the most creative fps games i have played in a long time. if you arent one for roguelike games where things keep resetting i would avoid it. it can get a little bit frustrating at times but the game is really unique. if you can rent it or borrow it from a library thats probably your better bet though.
