so Borderlands 4 was officially announcced at Gamescom earlier today it's been rumored for a while but nice for it to actually be real. this is just a CG trailer so no gameplay so I am curious what it looks like and who the characters will be but that's for the future. Funny thing is I'm not even a big Borderlands fan I've only played Borderlands 3 (the best one :p) but My friend is a big Borderlands fan so I'm sure he'll talk me into getting it.

Borderlands games are great and I've no doubt I'll end up playing this one too.

Although thinking about it, my experience with Borderlands has largely been tied to my kids being born... Meaning, my oldest son was born in September 2012 just after Borderlands 2 came out, and my daughter was born in 2019 a little before Borderlands 3 dropped. I spent most of my paternity leave fragging bandits with a swaddled baby.

Not looking to have another kid for 2025 though, so I'll just let that trend die.
