Baby is the worst part of kids.

Kids in the baby/toddler format are kind of lame until they become people. Once they start having opinions and personalities that aren't just carbon copies of you...that is WILD.

Babies love me and it makes me feel great. There have been so many times where friends' babies come straight to me and get all giggly and smiley and yeah, I love that.

1. That people say "sleep like a baby" and that is not a good thing. Having babies threw off my sleeping and it has never gotten back to normal.

2. The parent "dance" motion that every parent just learns. That sort of swaying bouncing that you see every parent do when holding a baby, whether their own or someone else's. Someone pointed out they knew I was a parent just from holding a friend's baby once.

3. Pretty much every way. They're stupid sacks of potato until they can talk.

4. They are so cute even when they are ugly as sin.

5. I did and I'm glad. I never want to go through baby-time/toddlers again. They are old enough to share interests with me or are learning and trying new things that I never did as a kid so I get a window into that world.

1. That once you get them figured out, they hit a new phase and you have to figure stuff out again.
2. I breastfeed. So that was my cheat that my husband could not do.
3.the mad anxiety that comes with just having one. You want to do the best by them and you are now worried about anything happening to them.
4.that they grow up. Seriously though, they are very portable. Don't over think that part to much. Just carry them with you. When they start walking, keeping track of them becomes harder.
5.I am very glad they are not babies. The reason I finally realized I was Ok having kids is realizing they are not a baby for long. When they get old enough to have their own personality and thoughts is the best.
