Assassin game?

I'm considering doing the assassin game. How it's played:

Everyone who joins gets a name of another player PMd to them. That player is their target. The objective of the game is to be the last one alive.

How you play: Find a post they made somewhere on the forums within the past 24 hours, then be the next post after theirs saying "You're dead!"

That's it. Then you message me back that you've done the deed and link me to it, and I assign you another player to target. Honor system on this: don't privately arrange for another member of the forums to post immediately after you to keep you safe from whoever has a hit on you. Also you're required to make at least one post on the forums every day, no joining the game and then keeping your distance while the herd thins. If your target hasn't posted anything within the last 24 hours, let me know.

We'll see what the interest level is at.

I think twelve-ish would be enough for a minimum to play, I think. More would be better, less would probably not be fun or worth it.

Do it during a wolf game, but you need to get somebody 3 times. If someone posts between you, then it doesn’t count

Oh man. I used to love Assassin but I feel like I'd forget to post every day. Might join later if there aren't enough people. My ass would probably die so fast thanks to Mario Party, but I do have a two-time bronze trophy to defend if I remember correctly from the old site.

Nothing wrong with being an easy target, you'll boost someone's self esteem and give them a dopamine rush!

I wasn't sure about this idea at first, but after thinking about it, it could be fun. You know who your killer is after the first attempt, so then it becomes a game of cat and mouse for the next two, while you're playing the opposite role for somebody else. Could also help make for a longer and more exciting game if fewer people are playing.

Only five-ish people so far, but I don't expect I'll be starting this until at least Monday at the earliest so there is time.

If I don't get at least twelve players by then I'll just leave signups open until we eventually have that many.
