My favorite is Granny Smith, but there's a garden center near me that sells "ice apples" in the winter which are also really good.

I don't eat any apples besides that, so that's my list.

I know nothing about the actual different types of apples other than the fact that everybody seems to hate the Red Delicious ones. I know green is popular but I don't know why anyone would choose that over the other colors when they're clearly inferior in both color and taste.
