PC AOL Desktop is Still a Thing...Why?

...people are still browsing the web with AOL desktop. I am blown away by this, lol. Legitimately shocked. How is this still a thing?

Does anyone here use AOL Desktop? Surely not!

As much as I want to knock it, if it wasn’t for AOL at home, I would have never had the consistent internet access to frequent GW back in the day. The only other provider for my area back then was absolute garbage that connected at 28.8kbp/s if I was lucky.

Oh same, AOL was all I had for years except for a fly by night rip off called going platinum that got shut down for ripping people off

I was AOL on 33.3k modem until my neighbor got dsl and I had a laptop to steal their their internet, then I went to college. After I went to college, my parents got cable and high speed internet
