Just curious...been wanting to take another stab at running a campaign, but I dunno if there's anyone chomping at the bit to give it a go.
I'm thinking about running a Curse of Strahd campaign, so it's more horror/Gothic themed. Player death is a definite threat. Would start at level 1 or 2...2 might be smarter to avoid an early TPK.

So I wanted to make a character similar to Lokido from Another Eden. Would the closest race to looking like him be a Leonin? Do we have access to that race? @VashTheStampede @Ben

Half human and half beast. Shunned by both humans and beastfolk, he's lived a lonely life. Though normally a quiet and peaceful person, he holds an incredible hatred toward Beasts and will stop at nothing to destroy them all |

I don't have that sourcebook on DNDBeyond. My guess is Vash doesn't either. It's also $59.95 so lol no I'm not buying that on a whim.
....Please don't make me buy that on a whim.
The rules, etc. are of course available on the internet, but if trying to use DnDBeyond to manage this it'd have to be a race we own already. To my knowledge, the list that's available under the account options here should encapsulate all of the races (I at least) have access to. And I believe I could share anything Vash doesn't have with him to use for his campaign.

@VashTheStampede are we allows to start our characters at level 2?
I have decided on my new character because the alternative was doing work at work. @VashTheStampede i made him level 2 because of your initial post. I also traded in his starting weapons (scimitar, shortsword, and longbow+arrows) for a quarterstaff and great axe if that is alright with you… though I might switch back from the axe to a long bow before the campaign begins

... Hmmm, I wonder how a changeling would fare in that campaign... Because I kind of just want to play my Naeu'ro character.
I didn't read through too much of Strahd so I only know the vague outline of the story. I'm thinking there's a lot of opportunities for subtlety though.
Shifting to look like any humanoid, or any creature I've seen, though? That could be fun.
Edit: I don't think Changelings and lycanthropes are immediately enemies, right..? That's the other dog race that I don't recall the name of...

Not really what I told it to go for at all, but the way it made his head bob side to side as he sneaks off just makes me think of Ace Ventura, so I'm now compelled to play the character similarly.
I can imagine that'd get annoying for everyone else though, so maybe not.
Ankylosaurus is the best dinosaur
That'd be funny.
But sadly the backstory I got in mind is more messed up than Looney Tunes has for their characters.
