you should see my copy of Turtles in Time for the SNES. I'll take a picture when i can. I have no idea how I'm going to clear the label side.
I want to do a cart transplant, but I don't trust myself to do that, with the labels and whatnot. It's got some deep gouges in it, it's so, so bad. That's why I jumped on these, lol.

(soz!)

lol, just who I am in general, I always feel guilty after snagging something that anyone else might want.
the back cover is cracked down the middle, but that is an easy replacement
Yeah, that's one of the best places to have a problem, just grab any random cheap SNES game with a perfect back and bingo, you're sorted.

I tried to do that with Fatal Fury on the Genesis, but for some reason, some of the carts are designed differently. And I'm not just talking about the EA games. Don't know what game for the SNES I'd be willing to swap it with.

Nothing there for me, but I appreciate you asking. You might be able to get some money for the Zoo Tycoon box! PC cardboard boxes are making a comeback
I hated those giant box PC games.

I once had the Tomb Raider GotY edition with this dumb box:

How the fuck was I supposed to store this thing?

At some point I just ended up discarding the box.

I always discarded my cardboard boxes. Kicking myself for it now, though 😔
meh, eBay sellers are only selling that game for 60 bucks complete, I'm not missing out on much.

It's the GBA game boxes I'm disappointed in myself for discarding, though the after market DS-like boxes from Custom Game Cases are MUCH better for one's collection.

I discovered a bunch of my GBA boxes in storage not long ago (I say a bunch, I mean 7 or 8), but most were Pokemon and all were complete, so that was a very nice come up moment! Means some of my games are suddenly worth a decent chunk of money, lol. Sadly my copy of Emerald turned out to be player's choice, but...eh...whatever.

Edit -- not Emerald, Leaf Green.

If you're ever interested in selling them, I might be in the market for a couple 👀

I think collectable prices are going to tank within the next few years, due to the Trump tariffs, etc. But FOMO is still driving me to buy the stuff I want most ATM.

I mean, nostalgia makes me want to hang onto them, but brokeness makes me need to consider selling most things, so...I can always consider reasonable offers if you want to see what I've got. I can pull them out later today and get you some pics.

I'll get pics as soon as I'm back to my desk!
I'm an idiot and didn't take pics of the insides or carts, I'll do that tomorrow, lol, but here are the boxes I found. Not perfect 10s, but not garbage, either. I don't have the cart for the monster truck game, so that's basically just fodder, but hey, someone may want it someday.

I'd def be interested in Fire Red, and maybe Sapphire and Ruby too. That'd be a big purchase though, so I can't commit to it right away

Alright. Can you lemme know what prices you'd like for Red, Ruby, and Sapphire? Either here or in PM.
I know their approximate market value, but how about you shoot me an idea of where you'd like to be. Much like with Tommy Boy in the other thread, I'm not necessarily looking for market price, as nice as that would be given my situation, I'm simply looking for the games to go to the right homes with people I know will look after them. I trust my GWF family, so I'm willing to take below market value to make that happen. So if you want to hit me with prices for where you feel comfortable (likewise here or in PM), we can see if we can make those work. ;)

My rule of thumb is to try to get around 10% below comparable eBay prices, because that's the cut eBay takes.

I'll PM you some prices maybe later today and we can hopefully work something out 😊

Pics of the inside materials, all complete. Just to verify. Including e-reader cards and wireless adapter, never used. FireRed also includes mini poster. Sorry these were taken at my breaking down old desk, so excuse that.

I happened on a REALLY good deal for Sapphire recently. Like, half of what it normally goes for, and I wouldn't have wanted to low-ball you like that.

Still interested in Red and Ruby though
If you haven't pulled the trigger on that one, we can still work it into this deal, given the prices below, let's call it a bundle discount? ;)
How about 350 for Fire Red and 250 for Ruby?
Works for me.

Sorry, already pulled the trigger. You'd get a much better deal on Facebook groups or eBay, though. I got it for $210. You should be able to get around $350.
Works for me
Cool, cash transfer or PayPal?

No worries, just rather it went to someone I trust first than hitting up those options ;)

I'll leave that up to you, whatever you're most comfortable with!
