Industry AI trained on Minecraft makes a video game

I haven't tried it yet myself because I'm on a phone, but it sounds like a dream, where things around you change for no discernible reason.

I played it a bit once. Really interesting and weird. It felt playing Minecraft in a dream. I thought the lack of object permanence was fun because you could look at the ground or a wall and then instantly be in a completely different place. A buddy of mine managed to go to the nether and figured out how to pretty much fly on command somehow. Also, if you stare at torches or fire, the game will make shadow demons out of the smoke.

Ooo so interesting. I wonder where it got the shadow demon idea from, I don't think that's in Minecraft.

I think it's just trying to make sense of everything in real time, so sometimes it tries to form the smoke effects into other things. It only lasts for like half a second before dissipating or forming into other stuff.

Very strange. Tried to play it a bit, it is very much like Minecraft but while medicated?
