I only mentioned the Hey hey hey, smoke weed everyday thread because I saw it in one of Ben's statuses (his Jan 12 one) but when I searched for it I found nothing.
Likewise I've been periodically checking Tubby's profile. No wonder he sent a wave reaction! There's absolutely no way I would have missed that thread.

When I was...umm...while I was briefly away, I noticed I couldn't see it, so when I got back I checked perms and mods and subscribers and so on can't see it properly.

That should have been one of those things that the registered group overrode... Weird. I could have sworn we tested the hell outta it, because we had Tommy posting in there, and he's not a mod and has been a subscriber for quite a while.

Yeah I'm not sure what's been going on, but perms were definitely way off. I checked with Marcie and rk right after I did it and they'd never seen the forum before and they've been registered and mods for some time.

I'm wondering if we ended up losing some permissions when XF was updated that one time, because I know we checked that forum when we were going down the list, and we even had people confirm that they were able to see it. This is gonna make me want to comb through all of the permissions again.

That's what has me stumped, because I know we went through testing all of those permissions when we first set up the "verified" accounts, and then again after we had an incident. So, I'm just racking my brain trying to think of when it could have gotten goofy, and your account of not being able to access it makes it even more confusing.

I was 11 when I signed up to original GW. I put my real birthday, one of the mods noticed it and instead of banning me suggested I change it which is a thing you could do back then.

Pretty much. My grey hairs are coming in slowly but surely. I should really do some yoga or exercises to keep my joints healthy, though. I don't have joint pain yet, but I expect it in the near future.

Yeah, something had to screw with permissions, because I remember more people being able to access it before and it just slowly becoming a bit of a dead zone.

...on Discord...when I mentioned I noticed the permissions were wacky and as soon as I came back I fixed the adulting forum...your first literal comment was "oh yeah, I was going to mention that, what is that?" We talked about it... nothing?

Yes, it had been fixed when I made the thread. Crystal had noticed the issue when she briefly left her admin role and lost access. I gained access sometime between May 8 and today so it fits.
