Multi 2023 Gaming Wrap-Up

Sony sent these out today. I'm sure Nintendo's is coming soon, and I assume Microsoft does these as well. The Sony one is several pages, so I'll just post a few, but definitely post yours!

It will be interesting to see what next year's looks like as my group essentially stopped playing Warzone at some point earlier this year. That has taken up a significant portion of my gaming time since 2020.

My PS3 and PS4 have been mothballed for years, I just bought a PS5 and dug those out (and we're finally sorting out something WRT the collection~) but haven't connected them, and all I've done...

Still plugging away at Guitar Hero and Rock Band eh?

It was a great regret of mine that I was never able to 100% Guitar Hero Metallica, but I'm not sure I had the skill. In hindsight, I could have gotten the achievement for completing the tutorial

For a time, yeah. Bought RB4 with a guitar and two Legacy Adapters back in 2018-2019 or so, before our most recent move. Didn't get too involved with it then, and then put it all into storage in the garage. Pulled it out late last year into early this year and had a hell of a time shaking off the rust and re-learning how to play. ...And to hold the damn thing.

I think one of my goals for 2024 is dedicating a lot of time to knocking out whatever I can achievement-wise across the board, and then wrapping it up for good. Kind of unlikely there will be a RB5 (unless Microsoft buys Harmonix off of Epic or something?), and I ain't exactly getting any younger here so it's probably about that time.

Pfft, who even does tutorials man?

But yeah, I feel you. You were always far more skilled than I, but I'm kind of regretting not persevering back in the day and taking down Jordan in GH2. I did TTFAF and TDWDTG in GH3, and I used the solos in Green Grass & High Tides exported into RB2 as a warm up exercise, so I'm sure I could have done it at my peak. Gonna be a hell of a ride pulling that off in the here and now! Also noticed I either went -1 or over-strummed in Xtreme for the 500k score achievement in GH2, so... that sucks.

Heres my Switch one. I have at least 1.5 hours per day of downtime at work. Usually 2.5h though.

I almost never play my Switch at home. Only work or travel. I usually have 1.5-2.5hrs of downtime at work each day. Sometimes more. April was my busiest month with 111 hours. It was Ramadan, which meant more like 4 hours of downtime each day


I still haven't beaten TotK lmao
