We'll need to find a way to make one that's convenient for our upside downers and Europeans, as well. The more we can get involved in one of these, the better!

That said, hit a few boundaries for us!

A continuous one might lose its' appeal, but we could definitely look into it. We'll start with this event and probably some more to make sure everyone has the chance to join in, and then we'll go from there.

Is it possible for multiple people to initiate them? For example, if our folks down under wanna hold one at a time more suitable for them and just have others jump in if possible the way they would for the American-timed one.

I’ll be honest, I have no clue how any of that stuff functions, so I can’t even start it up for you or whoever else is in there. I managed to kick someone earlier, that’s about the extent of my experience with discord.

Edit - And by “no clue” I mean “haven’t even attempted”

I hopped on a little before 7 CST and sat there for about 10 minutes, then disconnected. I assume it lets you see who is online on the voice chat.

My fault, I got caught up in something and couldn't start the event on time and I guess that sort of delayed things. Wish you'd been there!

I missed out on a fair bit figuring out how to use the app and adjust the settings, but it seemed like everyone liked it and @Elusive (I believe, I may be wrong) suggested having another one tomorrow night, @Xellos mentioned being off work and having a few drinks during it, and there may be others if it ends up actually happening. There were also some ideas floated around for the gaming club to help incorporate the forums into the chats since we’ve broken the ice with using Discord for this community.

All in all, not a bad turnout for something we barely planned and started late. Even those that weren’t using mics were equally involved, so it seemed like everybody participated.
