I don't know what's going. Christina is being weird here making me question my Detective results. Local and CG are on the same team. dimmerwit and Quagmire are on different teams. I've been traveling so I haven't caught up in the game thread.
I just thought it strange because I don't remember him in the chat is all.

Your results are fine (Local take heed).

IMO checking against a confirmed townie is a waste of the Detective's power though, and makes them no better than an Aura Seer.

I prefer a "dimmerwit is bad" result over a "CG and dimmerwit are on different teams" result. I don't like 50/50 results, which is why I only look at one person when playing Spirit Seer.

ESPECIALLY when both solos were killed off and there's no fear of a Fool lynch.

It's a lot like the SK and the wolves. They're simply allies until they're not.
Yeah, yours and Zells explaination makes sense, and I'm dumb for not working that out on my own. Of course they're not on the wolves side, they're on their own side, but they can't win if the town takes out the wolves too soon. And Zell didn't give advice directly to the wolves, he used Christina as a proxy. Makes total sense :good:

You call yourself dumb far too often. It's better when players ask questions about what's going on, not enough do. You're one of my preferred players for that. The only way to get better is to have a better understanding of game strategies.

Just checked, it's not one of the strong roles, so I'm assuming not. Quagmire is just holding onto that shot.

@Christina why did I get killed? Did you guys find that I was a strong role? Or do you think that was what happened last night.

Edit: You're the blind wolf, so unless you had two, it was either a read you got night 1 or a lucky kill.

So, is that annoying role where you can gift abilities to players in this game and Quagmire was gifted a gun at random night 1?
Quagmire is the Gunner, it's his second shot. His waiting might cause another no lynch because the town will have a couple hours to figure it out.

There has been a Forger claim by Alu. He claims to have given it to canadaguy, who is muted.

TD has it right, it's really my own fault. I had figured hey, if he's town then he can only thank me because I'll make him immune to lynching. But in hindsight it should have been obvious to me that would make the wolves want to get rid of you faster. My bad, dawg.

Out of sheer curiosity, who did you have lined up for shot two?

Didn't think that far ahead, honestly. Since I couldn't choose a new target until the following night, I figured let's just see if I survive this one first and then see what I can learn on day 2.
So the thing with Marksman is that you choose your next target the same night as your first shot and can take your second shot the very next night (if your first target dies).

it's fine, I'm not mad

just disappointed :D

I just got hit with a massive stroke at bad luck this game. EVERYONE targeted me in this game. The librarian and SK hit me night one and then you and the wolves on night two.

super unlucky

These games typically wrap up by day 3, and it takes 2 days for the marksman to use their ability or even longer if they keep changing it. It's not like the gunner who can take their time and use their ability in an instant, and who could potentially end up killing someone who was really useful to the town. I didn't want to end the game never having used my shot, and I figured worse case scenario the town loses a marksman which isn't one of the strong roles and you still get useful information out of it. My mistake was making it public who my target was set on, next time I get marksman I'll keep that part to myself.

I think my favourite part is that even though a wolf, the solo killer, and the wildcard died during the day yesterday - if Quagmire messes up this shot, the town HAS to lynch a wolf but they won't have time because of the stalling, and then it's game over.

I think it was pretty clear Fools was muted, which I think you knew. BUT, it’s Fools, so you have to think you probably aren’t going to get a solid claim anyways (ironically because he’s detective you would have, but most time no).

I would have shot too

I don't know why they vote what they vote. Was not my job.

I feel this. I too got a lot attention that first night. At least I got to get make sure my murderer died too.
